VEiiLA (Pronounced Vay-la) is Vif Nute and Bes Eirid, a "band without a country," the duo fled their homeland of Russia with a couple of suitcases when Russia invaded The Ukraine in 2022 unwilling to support the ugly war and the horrible autocratic regime. They embarked on a journey without a destination.
"VEiiLA" is a stylized reference to a Baltic mountain dwelling demon that lures men into her cave by singing and then devouring them.
Currently in Armenia, VEiiLA released their second studio album in 2023 called "Sentimental Craving For Beauty" and it's available via Projekt Records.
